Gandhinagar, Gujarat — Following their historic international campaign at the 7th Tokyo International Wushu Festival in Japan, where the Indian contingent secured an astonishing 100% Gold Medal clean sweep, the national delegation paid a formal courtesy visit to the state leadership at Swarnim Sankul, Gandhinagar.
The delegation was received with great honor by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendra Patel, and the Hon'ble Minister of State for Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities, Shri Harsh Sanghvi. Both dignitaries personally commended the athletes, reviewed their medal haul, and praised the leadership of Grandmaster Gajanand Rajput for putting Gujarat and India at the forefront of international combat sports.

Minister Sanghvi assured the delegation of the Gujarat Government’s unwavering commitment to expanding high-performance combat sports infrastructure, specialized coaching camps, and athlete incentives under the state’s sports development policies.
